Wenatchee, WA

Hi all,

We made it safely to Wenatchee at 10:30 pm. As we left Victoria, the weather was moderately cool, but not nasty. Of course, as soon as we got to the Vancouver side, it was pouring buckets. Truely, 'back east' starts at the ferry! We also had snow on the top of Steven's pass! That slowed us down a little.

So far, we have seen no antelopes. I think I saw a few deer in the ditch (standing up and walking around) as we came down the mountain.

Kaleigh wants me to tell you that we have no digital camera with us, so we may be without pictures until we get to Greenville. She also wants to see what I wrote before I post it. I think she wants to be my editor.

Finally, just wanted to say it seemed a very good day at church today. It was a great blessing to worship the Lord with you all and we look forward to joining with you again in three Sundays.

God bless!

Maranatha!
Pastor Don
Jer 33.3

Debbi and Kaleigh's little additional note--we sent Pastor to the car for "stuff" so that we could add our own little ditty here.  We had a fun day together in the car....Kaleigh and I played board games together, while Pastor Don "flew" down the highway.  When darkness forced us to abandon our board games, we all listened to an audio book for the last two-ish hours of our journey....which helped to steady ALL of our nerves as we traveled through the lonely mountain pass in rather blinding snow.  You KNOW it was blinding because the Pastor SLOWED DOWN to about 60km an hour!!  Anyway....we arrived....alive and well on planet earth.
